I think of this as calculating less.
When starting Remitly Matt realized that, “starting a money transmission business would be irrational.”
This stuck with me. I always think I can preplan all the angles and weigh all the risks. But it never unfolds as expected, and over-calculating just makes the crazy odds more clear.
Maybe the only thing you can expect is to be surprised?
